Jessica Hiestand

Jessica grew up in Ferndale, WA and attended Western Washington University to earn her B.S. in Kinesiology. Shortly after, she ventured to the opposite corner of the lower 48 for her DPT at University of Miami. Jessica was drawn to the profession after experiencing several sport injuries herself over the years and participating in the rehabilitation journey. Jessica has a passion for manual therapy and spreading her enthusiasm for the human body to her patients using education and exercise.

She has experience working with a variety of athletes and spent time working in UM’s athletic training room helping to return D1 athletes to sport as soon and safely as possible.

Her weekends include hiking in the mountains with her dog Presley, jamming to music while meal prepping, waking up early to break a good sweat, and wandering about enjoying the simple pleasures of life.
